Primary market homes are still moving much faster than the U.S.
The number that matters most right now is 64. Realtor.com put the U.S. median days on market at 64 days for the week ending October 24, 2026. In this market, the Real Estate Data Aggregator counted homes selling in 13 to 16 days. That gap tells sellers that pricing and prep still matter, because buyers are moving fast. It tells buyers to be ready before the right home hits the market.
The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 361 homes sold across the Primary market in the three months ending August 31, 2026. That is a real volume of activity. Buyers are not waiting around, and the numbers back that up.

Lake Nebagamon, WI (54849): a different pace
The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 11 homes sold in ZIP 54849 in the three months ending August 31, 2026. With only 6 homes for sale, this is a small, quiet corner of the market. The median days on market was 61 days, much closer to the national figure. The sale-to-list ratio was 95.2%, meaning most homes sold below their asking price. This ZIP reads very differently from the rest of the Primary market.
The wider picture: rates and national sales
Freddie Mac put the 30-year fixed rate at 7.24% as of October 29, 2026. The 15-year fixed averaged 6.60%. Realtor.com noted that rates surged above 7% for the first time since January 2025. Nationally, the National Association of Realtors reported existing-home sales reached 3.99 million units in September 2026. Inventory nationally rose to 1.60 million homes. Existing-home prices were up 1.3% nationally in September 2026. Against that backdrop, 13 to 16 days locally is a meaningful contrast.
